moving to colorado days 4 & 5

COLORADO: DAY 4 🏔️🏕️

~ i went to orientation in the morning and made a friend named morgan. we were talking and realized that i was assigned two roommates and she had none so we asked HR and they were able to move me to her room!

~ for some reason i got absolutely no other pictures other than my bed that day…

~ morgan and i had an official property tour and a second orientation. (as i was waking to the building where we were all meeting, i got caught in a downpour and i realized the problem with not having a car…😭)

~ later that night we went down to the common room and i made friends with some of the girls that were down there. they also are huge boygenius fans so we hit it off immediately and hung out the rest of the night.

~ me and olive (one of the friends i made) went out to the parking lot of our building to go stargazing. the stars are STUNNING in the mountains fr.

COLORADO: DAY 5 🏔️🏕️

~ i had my first day of work at the craft shop. the walk to work was absolutely gorgeous.

~ work ended up being a bit stressful because our system shut down and we had to deal with some upset and rude customers so it wasn’t ideal.

~ we went to lunch and after lunch we came back and i had to complete a ton of orientation videos which were just about the most boring things ever.

~ after work, my coworker rosemary was going into town to the closest grocery store and asked if i wanted to tag along. i needed a few things so i did.

~ after that she drove me back to my dorm and i dropped off my stuff and headed to dinner.

~ i started listening to ethel cain’s album “preacher’s daughter” on my way back to my dorm room and this adorable fox walked right past me! foxes are my favorite animals so this a was super cool experience.

~ i finished listening to ethel cain’s album and olive invited me to hang out with them and their friend group. we started craving mac n cheese so we decided to drive to the grocery store to get some.

~ when we got back, i met a bunch more of olive’s friends and they are all super cool!

~ olive was telling me about their favorite movie “before sunrise” and so we decided to watch it.

~ a bunch of their friends came in after and we started watching “treasure island” but it was super late so i decided i needed to go to bed.
