Don’t miss this amazing city!

Since I just got back from Tokyo less than a month ago I feel like I can agree with Conde Nast that Tokyo is the best city in the world. It’s a huge city but it’s so beautiful and culturally unique that it truly has something for everyone. It’s also so easy to get around. The subway system in Tokyo is so easy to navigate and it’s spotless. Actually the whole city is spotless it’s kind of strange. I think I spent most of my time in Ginza, Shibuya, Minato City, and Shinjuku. I will say the food in Tokyo is cheap and the best places are twelve person counters where they take no reservations. I think most meals I spent $10 including drinks. Now I do think hotels are kind of pricey in Tokyo and I didn’t even go at high season. I spent $700 to stay at The Tokyo Edition. It was so nice but not worth the price tag. It was actually kind of tricky because we were a group of three and we found only nice hotels would accommodate. I actually found Tokyo to be very tourist friendly and everyone spoke English. I’m not a museum person so I can’t talk too much on those but I did love just strolling the streets. It’s pretty much what I did most days. I spent a week in Tokyo and I actually don’t think it was enough. Let me know in the comments if you think Tokyo is the best city in the world.
