Mistakes I’ve changed as a lash artist

I used to make these mistakes, but I’ve learned and grown so much. Here are some changes I’ve made in my approach to my lash business:

1. No more charging extra for lash baths. It should be included in the standard service, especially when charging top dollar.

2. ��Charge late fees. Being 10 minutes late doesn’t change the fact that I’m running 10 mins over, instead of charging for that time I just cut the appointment short. Anything past 10 minutes will be rescheduled as I cannot complete that appointment with adequate time.

3. Sharing my favorite products and hacks. I used to keep them to myself, but now I love recommending the best products to my clients.

4.Taking care of myself by scheduling breaks. No more back-to-back clients for 12 hours without breaks. Quality service requires rest and self-care.

5.Understanding different skin types. I’ve learned that priming every client is not necessary. Skin types vary, so I alter my prep methods accordingly.
