Treat yourself to an amazing dinner at Marcy’s 😮‍💨

Finally dined at the popular Marcy’s after hearing all my friends rave about it and loved the experience! Had a great meal there although we might have ordered a wrong dish but I’d definitely return to try the other mains <3

FOOD

1. MARCY’S CRAB TOAST: 4/5 ⭐️ ($15++)

Fluffy, buttery, bites of heaven with a hefty serving of crab meat 🤤 my bf and i inhaled this plate in minutes bc it was just that good! I won’t lie though, the serving size is quite small considering it’s price tag, hence the -1.

2. MALFADINE: 5/5 ⭐️ ($35++)

The sauce had a very fragrant seafood umami flavour which paired well with the chunky flat noodles (which is my fav type of pasta!). The raw red prawns was the star of the dish, it was fresh and tasted like sashimi without any of the fishiness. The deep fried prawns were also heavenly as it added an extra crunch to an overall ‘soft’ dish. It can get quite ‘jelak’ so I recommend sharing it!

3. SALMON WELLINGTON: 2/5 ($42++)

This dish was an x’mas special and we got convinced by the staff to try it but omg i really regretted changing my mind… Expected a piping hot dish with flaky pastry crust but received a lukewarm wellington with soft pastry ☹️ The staff explained that the dish had to be cooked in low heat to prevent the salmon from drying out (which was understandable), but the textures from this dish wasn’t our cup of tea… i’d say skip and go for their usual mains!

4. MARCY’S PECAN PIE SUNDAE: 5/5 ($16++)

A must get!!! I loved this dessert so much i wanted to get more 😭 Loved the pecan nut flavours and the texture of the pie pieces. It paired very well with the vanilla ice cream <3 my only wish was that they gave us more pecan pie pieces 🥲

AMBIENCE

Loved the dark, cosy vibes of this place, it’s a really intimate space and it’s perfect for date nights!
