perfect homemade MATCHA LATTE recipe !! 🍵✨

i have been making my own matcha lattes for a while now bc its so expensive outside and i think the ones i make are p decent so just thought i’ll share what i do! i make this every other morning to give myself some caffeine and motivation boost before school/ work! and here’s the recipe:

✨Ingredients:

- 2 tsp matcha powder

- 60ml water

- 200ml milk

- 1 tsp of sweetener (eg. powdered brown sugar or honey; adjust based on desired sweetness)

✨Steps:

1. Sieve 2 tsp of matcha powder into a bowl

2. Add 60ml of water into the same bowl and whisk it up using a bamboo whisk

3. Fill a glass cup up with ice, 200ml of milk, and 1 tsp of sweetener of choice

4. Pour the matcha from the bowl into the glass of milk in a slow, steady stream.

The matcha mix should suspend above the milk, forming two distinct layers of green and white that gradually mixes over time.

fyi i used naoki matcha powder! honestly i tried their powder once from their sample set and have been using it ever since 🤩 and as for the milk i usually use meji white milk or kikkoman/ oat side soy milk! all these options go p well with the matcha imo
