sharing my seoul itinerary from last summer (took way too long to post 😔)! i think it’s a good mix of touristy places and local spots, especially if you’re visiting seoul for the first time ✨
i stayed at TRAVELODGE MYEONGDONG CITY HALL, which i recommend bc it’s affordable, clean, and conveniently located at a walking distance from myeongdong and namdaemun market (nearest subway is city hall station!).
🍵 DAY 1:
— took the airport limousine to my accoms (highly recommend if there’s a stop near your destination)
— ate at myeongdong kyoja
— spent rest of the day exploring myeongdong shopping street + eating street food
🍵 DAY 2:
— gwangjang market (i’ll go back there just for the twisted donut, it’s SO good)
— gyeongbokgung palace
— national palace museum of korea (located right next to the palace)
— had naengmyeon at bukchon handmade dumplings
— bukchon hanok village (visited granhand and cafe knotted)
— namsan tower
🍵 DAY 3 (booked a klook tour):
— petite france and italian village (first stop of the klook tour)
— ate dakgalbi for lunch before boarding the nami island ferry
— nami island (part of the tour as well)
— hongdae (shopping and photobooth heaven fr)
— dinner at tokkijung (hongdae branch)
🍵 DAY 4:
— kalguksu alley at namdaemun market
— lotte outlets at seoul station
— explored apgujeong/gangnam area (tamburins, granhand, gentle monster etc)
— eggdrop (gangnam branch) for lunch
— coex mall (super big mall with shops like spao, butter and ofc the iconic starfield library HAHA)
— chilled by the river at hangang park + ate convenience store ramyeon
— walked around myeongdong (literally did this almost every night bc it’s on the way back to my hotel)
🍵 DAY 5:
— tried the famous pork bun/mandu at namdaemun market
— dongdaemun design plaza
— had jajangmyeon and tangsuyuk at hong kong banjum 0410 plus (dongdaemun branch) (p.s. this is paik’s noodles in sg!)
— hyundai city outlets (imo this is better than lotte outlets)
— visited the kwangya store at sm building!!
— explored seongsu (pop up stores, object, cafes. but also very crowded when i went on a weekend)
— gukbap for dinner at boseung hall (hongdae branch)
— shopping at hongdae: stopped by object, granhand, m playground (i LOVE hongdae)
🍵 DAY 6:
— had chungmu gimbap at myeongdong (not my thing…)
— lotte department store
— metcha (if you love matcha, check out this cafe)
— lunch at the same jajangmyeon place 🫢 but this time at myeongdong
— special mention to the 5000KRW bingsu store outside one of the olive young at myeongdong (it’s so delicious and cheap)
— back at hongdae for the third time (this time i went to a bb pistol shooting range, artbox, and many cute stores)
— 12 storey daiso at myeongdong
— street food at myeongdong for the last time during this trip
🍵 DAY 7:
— flew back to sg 😭😭
and that’s it~ my original caption was way too long so i had to cut it short :”( but i hope this gave you some inspo!
