I tried this $133 cleansing oil and I’m OBSESSED👀

I never would’ve imagined myself trying a $133 cleansing oil. So today I’ll be answering the question: Is it worth it? 👀💸🤩

Shu Uemura’s cleansing oil is a beauty cult favorite. These oils have been around for YEARS and it comes with different versions to target various skin types. As someone with oily and acne-prone skin, the salesperson recommended that I should use the POREfinist Sakura Anti-shine Fresh Cleansing oil 🌸

I’ve been using this cleanser for over two weeks, so here are my thoughts:

☁️ I love how gentle it is on the skin and it does a good job in dissolving makeup quickly. It never leaves an oily or tacky feeling. My skin feels very soft and hydrated afterwards! 🤩

☁️ To put its waterproof claims to the test, I used it on several waterproof makeup. BUT, theultimate waterproof makeup product test was the Heroine Make Volume & Curl Waterproof mascara. The true beauty addicts know that Heroine Make products do NOT budge at all. Sadly, it couldn't remove my Heroine Make mascara completely, but I think it does a decent job for most mascaras.

☁️ Mascara aside, this oil removes waterproof makeup well. Shu Uemura claims that you don’t have to double cleanse with this oil, and true enough, my face is usually clean when I wipe my face with micellar water afterwards.

☁️ I’ll typically use 1 to 2 pumps with every use. Even though it’s pricey, the large bottle comes with 450ml of product so it’ll probably last me for months. Alternatively, there’s a 150ml version that retails for $55.

☁️ Overall: This product is a yay for me. But it’s really boujee for my student budget.
