Intro to drawing projects and inspo!

Over the summer I’ve been taking an intro to drawing class for a major requirement! My plan for college as of now is to go into elementary art education🎨🖌️

1) these shading exercises were super fun and easy to learn. We learned a bunch of different shading techniques and worked on spheres!

2) this is a image of my first project reference. I’m not a huge fan of still life drawing so I havnt worked on it much, but I do like how I set the still life up!

3) this is my most recent project where we were asked to recreate a famous work of art. This art piece specifically had to be a drawing originally (so we couldn’t recreate Vincent Van Gogh’s “Starry Night”☹️) I close a more modern piece that reminded me a lot of Picasso. Super excited for this one!

I’m super open to any tips or tricks when working with charcoal and graphite! Pencil has always been my favorite medium of art, but I’m always open to learning more! #collegeart #charcoaldrawing #artstudent #artschool #arteducation
