My Every Day, Feminine OOTD ✨💕

Here you go! OOTD at 14 weeks pregnant. Part of minimizing my wardrobe has been trying to find pieces that I can wear during pregnancy, but also wear when I’m not pregnant. Of course, this goal is harder to achieve with button pants like jeans, but this top fits the bill nicely. I absolutely love this outfit as I step into the second trimester, and I’ll be able to recreate it with maternity jeans as soon as my belly outgrows these!

Top: Neuflora top in white. I found Neuflora on IG and am in love with their clothing! Their whole business is built off of creating a cohesive closet that allows you to reach for any item and have it be a perfect choice. Their color palettes are soft and lively, while their fabrics are top quality and durable. Not to mention their prices are super competitive considering they are a high demand clothing boutique. To say I’m obsessed would be an understatement.

Jeans: American Eagle. I love love love American Eagle jeans and have a hard time grabbing anything else (can I get a pregnancy line pretty please?) I love these because they are on trend and yet still look feminine and flattering. Sadly many of the clothing trends today are defeminizing women — over-sized, long t-shirts, covered by over-sized long button ups, with humorously loose pants, and masculine belts. I could take the clothes off the female mannequin’s back at the clothing store, put them on my husband, and he would no less masculine than he does in his own clothes. Sadly, when placed on a beautiful woman, these clothes completely take away the beautiful figure and lovliness of women, and make them look exactly like the men. Women are literally walking around in men’s clothes that have been marketed as “women’s”. Of course, this is what culture wants nowadays and sadly, we are falling for it. I’m not saying I’m opposed to a baggy top now and then or a pair of super loose jeans. But my goal is still to look feminine and fight the culture war of companies trying to make me look like a man. So I love these pants because they strike that perfect balance of trendy, yet flattering and feminine. 💕
