Is Instagram dying out?

I honestly love Instagram, but lately I’ve been really discouraged because I feel like all my engagement has plummeted compared to this time last year. For me, it’s never been about followers/likes or how well my reach is, but lately it feels like even my friends CAN’T even find my posts, like they don’t even show up on the home page. My story views have been cut in half, and literally the other day when I tagged my partner in a post, he told me “it said you tagged me but I don’t even see the post”. So insta can you explain? I just want to get my engagement back to where it was, or at least where my friends and followers can see what I post on the homepage again.

Has this been happening to anyone else? Also please tell me how to get engagement back if you’ve managed to beat the algorithm 🥲. That’s my rant for the day!
