my breastfeeding must haves | well just a few 🤱🏻🤍

breastfeeding can feel so new and its so hard to see what you really need on your journey. theres so much products on the market for breastfeeding mamas: theyres snacks, clothing, products and pumps. what do we actually need to have a successful breastfeeding journey?

first and foremost, the hakka. this is my most used breastfeeding item. i have two and i would probably melt without it. whenever my baby sleeps through the night i get really full and will place the hakka on the other side to collect & remove excess milk from the stretch of sleep i get. honestly its such a life saver!!! every nursing mama needs🙊

second, my wearable pump. i use this for my night pump while baby sleeps. at 12am i pump to prepare for bed and i love how easy and simple it is. its fast, easy and i love all of the pump modes.

next my manual pump. i honestly don’t reach for it much now but freshly pp it was amazing for removing some milk to help baby latch when i was extremely engorged.

next a really nice nipple balm is essential during those early days. your body is going from not doing something to doing that something everyday, every 2 hours all the time. you need a good quality organic balm! plus once you dont need it as much you can use it as a lip balm!

lastly, not listed in pictures. a great cover, silverettes and nursing pillow in the beginning is a life saver!!
