What I wore for my first half marathon

I’ve been running now for about 3.5 months and I completed my first official half marathon race this past Sunday. Clocked in at 1:57:36! I can’t wait to keep running, training, and working on overall speed and technique!

Anyways, this is what I wore for a 55 degree race in the pouring rain (in Alaska, luckily no wind). I always hear that when you’re running, you should dress for about 10-15 degrees warmer than it actually is because your body will typically warm up quickly. While warming up before the race, I wore a sweatshirt and rain jacket up until the last couple of minutes 😅
