I was thinking the other day - “It would be nice to win a lottery one day, any lottery.” But then I remembered that there is a saying that goes something like:

“You are wishing for winning a lottery, but have you bought a lottery ticket?”

So I quite literally did that. I don’t think I’ve ever done that or thought of that before - I quite literally went and bought a lottery ticket same day lol. I’m not trying to promote any form of gambling, so I will skip the details of what happened after, but that experience I created for myself, ended up being quite insightful and eye-opening, I thought…

Why is this saying, that isn’t even about the lottery but about life, is so true?

Take a leap of faith in yourself.

Apply for that dream job.

Buy that lottery ticket

Or a plane ticket.

…You name it.
