💡Why dogs need to socialise ——

Dogs spend majority of their time interacting with humans but it is also important to expose them to other dogs as it teaches them how to react in the presence of other dogs and reduces their anxiety and fear of anything unfamiliar.

🎾How can playdates help? ——

Bringing your dogs to playdates help them develop good behavioural skills around dogs and other humans. Also it is fun for both humans and dogs!

As for Maruko, she was an only dog for many years and after introducing Juliet to her this year, we noticed that Maruko is less fearful of dogs bigger than her and has learned to play better with other dogs.

🎃 Our first playdate from the channel——

The first playdate we joined was a halloween costume party at Gardens by the Bay. It was super fun to see pawrents and dogs alike dress up for the occasion. Dachshunds tend to gravitate towards each other and generally like to play together…so overall it was a fun first meet and I would definitely be taking my dogs again for another playdate in the future.
