Hiking with my dog in Singapore

A fun weekend activity we recommend everyone trying is hiking with your dog. We took Maruko to a short hike on the Southern Ridges Trail that started at Henderson Waves. She had a lot of fun seeing new sights and paused occasionally to get pets from people.

🏔Difficulty Level

The paths are generally easy to navigate except for one part of the trail where we had to walk over a perforated metal bridge which was not too comfortable for Maruko so we carried her for a short while.

⭐️ Highlights

The views at Henderson Waves are pretty and a must see on your hike. Maruko enjoyed walking inside Hort Park when we reached that part of the trail.

🎒To pack

Remember to pack water for both humans and dogs as it can get quite hot. Bring a treat bag to reward your pup along the way.

Overall, it was a good workout for both Maruko and the humans and something we will do again. Where else do you take your doggies hiking? Let us know your suggestions.
