✨ College Dorm Checklist ✨

☀️ Hello!

This is a checklist full of items I found useful last year and will be keeping going into my sophomore year on campus this upcoming 2024-2025 year!

USEFUL TIPS: ‼️

1. I really suggest getting your comforter in the FULL size, it helps with keeping everything on your bed.

2. Combine a mattress topper AND a mattress pad. That way, you’ll never have to feel the prison-like college mattresses…

3. Decorate! Really make it feel like home. I personally love to thrift because it’s inexpensive and really lets you explore and develop your own personal style.

4. A Box fan!!! Seriously. They can be put on anything for any level you need it at, and are super easy to store under your bed or by your desk when you’re not using it! Also they are good to set up in your window for ventilation during the cool fall months.

5. VELCRO command strips!!! I can’t stress this enough! They are easy to remove and the you can re-use the set on the back of your decorations for next year and not have to re-buy as many!

6. For Laundry, get a hamper with wheels, actual game changer when you don’t have a washer and dryer located near you!

7. Keep chapstick and a travel sized deodorant in your bag or pencil pouch. Nothing says stressed out student like forgetting to put on deodorant before class…

P.S. Remember not everyone’s experience is the same, not every college has the same living arrangements!! Somethings that worked for me may not work for you.
