4 Ways to Style Low-Rise Pants

Low-Rise Pants are on the RISE - but they’re also probably one of the most controversial trends ever. Some love them, some hate them. I gotta say, I didn’t like them at all at first, but I became a fan last year when I found a pair at my favorite thrift store.

One problem many people have with low-rise pants is the question: “how do I style them?” If you’re one of those people who would like to try the trend but are unsure how to make them look good, don’t worry - I got you!

Look 1:

• For this look, I styled a pair of thrifted low-rise pants with a cropped short-sleeve shirt, sneakers, and a vintage Coach bag.

• Color-wise, I chose to stick with neutrals. If the pants are already an eye-catcher, don’t steal their show

• Outfit details:

- Sneakers: Lacoste

- Bag: Coach (thrifted)

Look 2:

• I went for neutrals again. This time, I combined black and gray. To avoid the outfit looking too dark, I always recommend adding white contrasts like I did here

- Boots: Charlotte Russe

Look 3:

• I wanted some color, but still keep it classy, so I went for a blue dress shirt with grey pants & neutral details

• Combining one colorful piece with neutrals is a great way to brighten up your outfits & make them more exciting

- Bag: Louis Vuitton

- Sneakers: Lacoste

Look 4:

• I went for a darker aesthetic to match the pants

• Don’t sleep on the black & brown combo - it looks super classy and chic!

• Mixing patterns is a great way to make your outfits more exciting

• When mixing patterns, combine one more prominent with one more laid-back pattern. Here I combined pin-stripes (pants) with the Versace-inspired chains and ropes pattern on the blouse
