Here’s a look of what I ate today (one day post 10 mile road race).
I know it looks really minimalist and that I’m lacking fuel. But sometimes I suffer from runner’s tummy and this time is lasting a little longer than usual. So I have major cramping with eating and no appetite after long runs and with the intensity of the one yesterday… my tummy is a hurtin 😵💫. So I kept my diet relatively light and avoided anything too greasy, salty, or spicy. Also I’m lactose sensitive so I am cutting down on dairy until my stomach gets back to normal.
Bfast: A matcha flavored cashew yogurt bowl with some bananas and blueberries. A London Fog with oat milk (My stomach did cramp a little from this).
Snack: Sourdough toast with peanut butter and banana and water (I actually felt completely fine with this meal).
Midday: Peppermint tea while I went on a walk
Lunch… Spinach salad. A Strawberry Rose flavored matcha with oat milk. (My stomach felt TERRIBLE after this meal).
Dinner… Some spaghetti with a homemade tomato sauce and some broccoli
