Merit Beauty Lip Oils

If you are on the hunt for a good comfortable lip oil look no further. Merit Beauty's Shade Slick Tinted Lip Oils might be just perfect for you.

Merit Beauty is a newer brand to Sephoras group of Clean Beauty Brands. Launching in 2021 in the middle of a pandemic didn't stop this brand from quickly becoming a favorite in the beauty space. When the brand launched in 2021 it came out with a total of 6 products and Shade Slick was one of those signature items.

The Shade Slick Tinted Lip Oils line carries 8 different shades. Over time I have collected 5 of

8. Shades in my collection include Marrakech, Falcon, Cara Cara, Bel Air and Taupe. The formula of these oils is very comfortable. The consistency of the oil is not thick or thin. It glides smoothly and softens my lips.

While I do love to use these and the colors are beautiful, I don't agree with the claim that formula is long lasting. It doesn't stain the lips and easily transfers if you're eating or drinking.

Other than that I will continue to use these because of how they make my lips feel.
