Current Favorite Haircare Products

Here’s a list of 6 of my current favorite haircare products! For reference my hair is thick, naturally wavy, color treated, and on the dry side.

✨First and foremost, my all time favorite shampoo and conditioner combo- The Atlantis moisturizing set by R+Co. I have been using the shampoo and conditioner for about four years now and it’s honestly my ride or die! This set is what got me turned onto the R+Co brand, which by the way, I love pretty much every product they make. My hairdresser also uses this on me in the salon and can confirm this is great for deep hydration!

✨Another R+Co favorite, Cool Wind ph-perfect air dry creme. After I get out of the shower, I squeeze a generous amount of this into my hands and run it from roots to my hair tips. It makes brushing out my hair, so easy, and I love the way my hair feels nourished and air dries like a dream! I prefer to let my hair air dry and let my natural waves come through, and this does a great job at enhancing those waves well also maintaining any frizz. I use this in my hair before I blow dry as well, I just love the deep moisture it gives!

✨Style on Steroids by Color Wow. This texture spray was sent to me last year by the brand to test out in exchange for my honest review. I am extremely pleased to say that I truly love this product and have been using it ever since! If you are a big hair don’t care girl like me then this is a great option! I like to spray this on the ends and throughout the middle for that glamorous 90s bombshell volume!

✨Amika Perk Up dry shampoo. This brand makes my favorite dry shampoo and unfortunately the travel size is always sold out- it’s that good lol. I have a very dry and sensitive scalp and I love that this stuff doesn’t irritate it. I find it also gives great volume at the roots, even on clean hair, and doesn’t leave that powdery gross white residue that other dry shampoos tend to do.

✨Lastly, this is a newer product I’ve been using.. HoliRoots hair oil by Fable and Mane. In the last few months, I started noticing a little bit of hair thinning around my temples. I sometimes get eczema patches on my scalp due to either stress or diet, which lead to irritation and scratching that I know isn’t good for my hair. As soon as I got to the point where it was a little more noticeable when I pulled my hair up, I immediately took action and went to Sephora and bought this stuff. It smells REALLY good and had wonderful reviews, so I gave it a shot. It’s only been about two months so far and while the results aren’t drastic yet (things like this take time and consistency for anything major) I do see and feel a difference so far both in my scalp health and softness/shininess throughout my hair.
