my opinion on the slicked bun

I love this trend. Dirty hair? Slick it back. Bad hair day? Slick it back. It’s versatile and most everyone can do it.

BUT dang its hard for me to get it looking right. If i go too low I become a founding father. If it’s right center back of my head I become an egg. My face is the widest part of my head so hair up isn’t my best style. With determination however I have discovered if I place the bun high enough, I am not an egg.

As a fat person with a round face everyone always tells me my hair looks best down and covering the sides of my face. But i hate wearing my hair down most of the time. My caution with the slicked bun has now fallen to the wayside and I choose to wear it boldly. It may not be the most flattering but who decides what flattering even means??

To all my round faced girlies out there, wear the damn bun. 🤎
