Hair Wax Stick

I have wavy hair and the humidity right now in NYC is not my friend. Styling my hair in this weather is pretty much pointless. That’s why I love doing a slick back bun. It stays in place through out my busy days and it’s actually really simple to do.

I always start with parting my hair down the middle with a comb

After parting my hair, I do a ponytail. I don’t care if it’s perfect right now because I’m going to redo it in a couple of steps anyways. Right now it’s just to hold my hair back.

Then I started applying the Bomb Hair Wax Stick. I bought this one at Target for $11. I start to apply the hair wax at my roots and then I drag it down to the direction of my ponytail. I do this several times until I am satisfied and have all the hairs are slicked back.

Here is the part where I redo my ponytail and really focus on the placement and tightness of the ponytail.
