Crafting my own sola wood bouquets for our wedding was one of the best decisions I made during this planning process. Not only did it allow us to save a significant amount of money—something any bride can appreciate—but it also gave me the creative freedom to design exactly what I envisioned.

I was afraid to order on Etsy only because most bouquets were nonreturnable/refundable. I was so worried about the “what if they are different than the photos” “what if shipping destroys them” and also the expense of 5 bridesmaids bouquets was a little more than I want to spend. Therefore I decided to sit down, research, prep and plan Diying them myself!

The combination of sola wood flowers with dried florals create a stunning, natural look that will perfectly suit our wedding’s theme. These handcrafted bouquets not only look amazing, but also add a unique, personal touch that will make our day even more special. I loved how I could customize the colors ( I matched a hobby lobby paint to the bridesmaids dresses) and arrangements to reflect our style, and the fact that I made them myself added so much more meaning.

Plus, the best part? These sola wood flowers last forever! They’re a beautiful keepsake from our big day that we will be able to @treasure for years to come.
