Things my✨narcissistic✨mother taught me

I’m a daughter of a narcissistic mother. Growing up I knew it was bad, I never noticed how bad she really had gotten until I moved out and again when I started to have children. I don’t want to go into detail about my experience it if you’re a child of one or have dealt with a narcissist you know how life goes. Now as a mother I have made it my absolute goal to do everything my mom didn’t do and everything different that she did do. I created this list of things my mother taught me to shine light on how children of narcissistic parents are raised, and how we can and will be better than our parents.

Loving my children has been the easiest thing I’ve ever done, being a mom is the greatest gift I’ve been given. Regardless of how I was raised means nothing when all I want is happiness, love, and success for my son’s. As a child of a narcissist, some days we struggle, some days we shine, but the fact of the matter is, if we aren’t our parents we’re already doing great!❤️
