So do I think the Ultra 2 is worth its price tag of $799?

Probably not… but that’s in comparison to the Apple Watch Series 8 or 9. If you have an earlier model it may very well be time to upgrade. And since the Ultra II has an impressively long battery life, a seamless large retina display, and is geared towards athletes and fitness buffs, it’s still an excellent choice.
