Cartier Tank, is it worth the investment?

If you are a watch or jewelry girlie, listen up!

I have stalked this watch for the longest time.Then when I was in Japan, I finally pulled the trigger to buy this watch. All along, I was interested in the preloved Tank because I prefer that to the current Tank design at the store.

The pink mother of pearl dial is from the older Tank model. I think I have a soft spot for mother of pearl dial. Another watch of mine also has this kind of dial and I super love it. I think it just elevates the watch and make it more classy and elegant.

Cartier Tank, at a glance, might seem to be very ordinary or basic, but after stalking it for a long time, the design grew on me. I love its simple and clean silhouette. I love the curvy case that makes it comfortable to wear and also it makes the watch not bulky on the wrist. The bracelet looks continuous when the watch is worn. When I wear this watch, I feel as if I'm wearing a piece of jewelry. I'm not sure if it's intended, but i won't be surprised if that's the intent given that Cartier is one of the most prominent jewelry houses out there.

I think I got a very good deal for this watch. It is a pristine secondhand watch and it comes with the original papers and box from Cartier. Since I purchased it in Japan, and the rate is favorable to us SGD holders, I get an even better price. Not to mention the 8% tax refund.

I can't wait to wear this watch more to different occasions! So the answer is hell yes, this watch is worth every penny!
