Let’s have an upgraded version of chives pancakes today 🤩
My mother’s traditional version is only using chives and dry shrimps, but I also added shrimps, shallots, red capsicum and sesame oil.
It adds more aroma and flavours to this delicacy! 😋
🌿Ingredients:
15 shrimps, 1 scoop of dried shrimps, 1 bunch of chives, 1/4 red bell pepper, 2 shallots, 2 eggs, 4 scoops of plain flour, salt, pepper, sesame oil, cooking oil, half a bowl of water
🧑🍳Steps:
1. Devein the shrimps, add a little salt, pepper, and sesame oil and marinate for 10 minutes.
2. Cut the chives into small pieces, cut the red capsicum into small cubes, chop the shallots, and clean the dry shrimps.
3. Take a large bowl and add chives, red capsicum, shallots, dried shrimps, shrimps, eggs, plain flour, salt, pepper, sesame oil and water. Mix the batter until it becomes fluid (you can increase or decrease the water as appropriate)
4. Put a little cooking oil in the pan, scoop batter into the pan, put one shrimp into each small pancake, and fry both sides until golden brown over medium-high heat.
