Pros & Cons of being a Financial Advisor 🤔

Making a choice to be in a highly stigmatized industry is no easy feat. Taking the first step to embark on this career definitely takes a whole lot of courage which is a lot easier with fewer liabilities as a younger age individual.

Being in it for awhile now, here’s my take on the pros & cons of being a financial advisor:

✅ Flexibility of time management, you manage and schedule your appointments and time, huge plus!

✅ Commisions based role which means how hard you work is how much you earn as well

✅ Making a true impact on someone else’s lives and to assure them that they are well taken care of financially through every milestone

✅ Growth process of an individual in terms of knowledge, skillset, people relations etc.

Ofc with all good things, here are some cons of being a financial advisor …

❌ Losing friends, some friends would distant themselves purely due to your career choice

To me, I’m not cheating or doing bad things in my job so there’s nothing to be ashamed of, in fact I take pride in the things I do 🤷🏽‍♀️

❌ Personal expectations - it might be becoz I place high expectations for myself which creates higher pressure as well. But work truly energizes me, so it’s personally not a con for me
