GUY GIFTS r tough?? 😮‍💨 my bf’s FAV gifts 👀💝:

after a few years of buying presents for my bf, the rough formula that works is — practical and/ or funny, or just something he loves based on his interests. or well, at least i TRY to check these boxes 🤪

inspired by @Shalom’s post, i thought it would be fun to get my bf to rank the top 5 gifts i’ve given him, and maybe provide some inspiration on what to buy guys cos idk why it just seems harder 😭

coming in at 5th place… we have

🏅 𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖 𝗧𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗛

bought this as a life upgrade sort of present. his verdict is that it needs some getting used to, but happy that he’s using it! guess that’s the good part about practical gifts.

🏅 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗦

i had to introduce sunscreen and moisturiser to this man but i did not expect this relatively high rating LOL. he complains about having dry skin so the Laneige water sleeping mask was a hit 🤪

🥉 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗕𝗢𝗕 𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗛

just gotta lean into their interests sometimes HAHA. i got him a ton of SpongeBob themed clothing and socks through their collabs with Vans, H&M, etc. realised that these collabs can be pretty fashionable, and some are subtle enough and not super in your face, which is cool! both fun and wearable 🤓

🥈𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗞𝗘𝗧

tbh, still so proud of myself for finding this gift 🤪 this blanket is damn comfy and you can literally be a human burrito in it. he sleeps with this every day so it’s a very useful gift, plus we had such a laugh about it at first.

threw practicality out the window for this one cos at the end of the day, he’s just a boy 😭 he was sooo surprised and happy with this lego car, it was 200% worth it. and i’ve made peace with the fact that i have to make space for it in our future BTO 🥲
