on wfh days, i just donโt feel like leaving the house for lunch. so for โจinspirationโจ and if you feel the same, here are some meals i cooked up in my kitchen in <30 min!
disclaimer: not a chef - i just like messing around in the kitchen and making functional quick meals (read: not aesthetic ๐ญ). i usually follow 30 min recipes which end up taking 1.5h SO these are actual 30 min meals! all seasoning is agar-agar ๐คช

inspired by taiwanese chilli wanton noodles but without wantons in my fridge ๐ cook lamian as you normally would, then set aside. stir fry broccoli, mushrooms and whichever other ingredients youโd like. then add back the noodles with chilli (laoganma chilli is my fav) and vinegar. if you have wantons, go ham! ๐ฅน

same vibe as thai basil beef rice! season minced beef with salt/ soya sauce and a generous serving of pepper. fry the okra first, then add in the beef and stir fry together. serve on rice, top off with a sunny side up, and voila!

this is like a brunch plate youโd find at a cafe, but homemade for 1/4 the price or smth ๐คญ chop up some garlic and fry mushrooms and cherry tomatoes with salt, pepper and any spices/ herbs youโd like. scoop out ur avocado (mine always looks bad lol canโt achieve the cafe effect) and serve with toast! ๐

season minced beef with sesame oil, soya sauce and pepper, then shape it into meatballs! i mainly used miso paste to boil the soup stock, added in chinese spinach, jade noodles and meatballs. soupy noodles always hit the spot for me ๐

chop up okra, enoki mushrooms (rly the best ๐คค) and protein of your choice if youโd like. cook udon till itโs almost done (but a little undercooked as youโll still fry it later), and set aside. fry the ingredients, add in miso paste and the udon noodles! mix together well and serve.
