Bristol is the aunty, or the grandma version if you will, of London. Slightly older, less hustle and bustle, quieter, but has its own unique character. I spent a few days here really winding down during my trip, so I condensed the most interesting parts of my many days here into a 36-hour itinerary.
๐ THRIFT SHOPPING
There are multitudes of curated thrift shops here in Bristol that youโre guaranteed to find something that you like. Expect slightly higher prices because they curate their items, and youโll be sure to find some vintage reworked items that youโll like too!
๐ EXPLORE FOOD OPTIONS AT THE WAPPING WHARF
Also known as the โcoolโ area of Bristol, youโll find lots of interesting food places and shops here. Some places that piqued our interest:
1. SEVEN LUCKY GODS ๐งง: Think Asian fusion dishes (but more on the Asian side)
2. PASTA MAGARI ๐: Fresh pasta
3. ROOT ๐ฅ: Farm to table concept dining, be sure to get a reservation or you wonโt get a spot!
๐ TAKE A FREE WALKING TOUR
There are PLENTY of free walking tours you can take around the city: search up Bristol on GetYourGuide.com to find any available free walking tours of the city!
