How I decided on Locs

My hair was always a struggle to take care of. i was only doing braids my whole life and a little with wigs but i was confused why there was so much breakage in the front. it could’ve been from the dyeing or lack of real moisture i was putting on my head.

*get natural products that will treat your hair well and moisturize it. my hair was always dry and the products i was using was not helping so my hair use to shed like crazy.

i couldn’t stand how it would take me a hour to detangling and in a matter of minutes it would tangle up again. i was always brushing my hair out (no comb or paddle brush was the best for brushing my hair when it was wet). and i was the one doing my own hair so it would take me about 3 days to do the braids that i liked and i was getting tired of it but i wasn’t about to pay someone else to do it.

i’ve been saying i wanted locs for some time and it jus happened once i found my stylist that knew what was best for my hair so i jus said F*** it i’m gonna do locs n i’ve been obsessed with it since.

6 months in June!! i can’t wait till it reaches a year Insha Allah 😆
