Tent camping with little kids 🤨

Okay I was thinking it would be a disaster or something. Things can be crazy with young children. Here are all the things I'm grateful for.

🌞 good weather!

🌞 the tent went up so easily. it was very intuitive.

🌞 our fire lit easily.

🌞 our air mattress and sleeping bags cooperated.

🌞 the kids slept until 8am, even though it was bright in the tent at 5:30 🤣

🌞 the kids loved playing around the campsite!

🌞 meals went as planned.

🌞 tear down was not a headache.

Some things I learned;

🙃 bring a lighter, obviously. Now we have a dedicated camp lighter at least.

🙃 we needed a bigger tarp. double check dimensions!

🙃 we also need extra stakes, the ones that came with the tent bend easily.. and a little mallet would come in handy.

🙃 there was no caffeine for the grown-ups. It was a mistake.

It was a learning experience but mostly we saw that it was possible and fun.
