Slow weekend recap

There are not too many weekends where we get to chill at home and appreciate doing a lot of nothing! I live for weekends like this- as a busy working mom of 2, they don’t come often.

This past weekend the biggest thing we did was attend a country concert on Friday night. We are huge Eric church fans and it’s been years since we have even been to any concerts!! Since it’s been so long, I truly appreciated the live music and the fun tailgate before the concert with friends. It was SO humid that night so slide 5 is my loose, casual country concert outfit! My hair was a complete mess by the end of the night so the trucker hat was 100% necessary! My stivali boots were the perfect western touch without going ALL out in cowboy gear 🙂.

I also spent a lot of time chilling with my daughters. My oldest daughter (she’s 11) is turning into a little mini me and I love it! We spent most of the weekend in our comfy clothes. I’m still loving the boxer shorts trend (slide 3,5,6!).

Lastly, I got in a couple of workouts and I wanted to share my favorite post gym shake/treat. I discovered this OWYN flavor (cold brew) at my local deli and after I tried it once I immediately ordered a case! They are available on Amazon or their website. I’ve been looking forward to this now daily!
