blueberry matcha latte

Even if you’re not sure if you like matcha …. Try it like this 👀🫐 Inspired by the blueberry matcha latte from @blankstreet 🍵

Ingredients:

Blueberry syrup:

— about 1/2 cup frozen or fresh blueberries

— 1/4 cup sugar

— juice from 1/2 a lemon

— 1/4 cup water

Latte:

— about a cup milk of choice

— about a cup of matcha

How-to:

1. Start with the syrup. Add all ingredients to a skillet and heat over medium heat, stirring continuously until the sugar is dissolved. Press down and crush the blueberries as you go.

2. After it’s darkened and the sugar is dissolved, let it cool for about 10 minutes. Strain out the juice through a colander.

3. Add a few spoonfuls of the syrup to a cup of milk and froth. Add ice and then matcha.
