Pecan Pie Brownies Thanksgiving Dessert Recipe

Save this easy Thanksgiving dessert 🦃

It’s all the pecan pie flavor you love, but with CHOCOLATE

Ingredients:

— 1 box brownie mix

— 2 cups pecans

— 1/4 cup maple syrup

— 4 tbs butter

— 1/4 cup brown sugar

— 1 tsp cinnamon

How-to:

1. Prepare the brownies according to instructions. Bake for 5 minutes less than the instructions.

2. While the brownies are baking, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in syrup, brown sugar, pecans, and cinnamon. Let cool slightly so it forms a paste-like texture.

3. Remove the brownies from the oven, and add on pecan pie layer. Return the brownies to the oven and bake for 10 more minutes.

These are fudgy and rich, and definitely more of a “fork” brownie than one you can eat with your hands — serve them up with vanilla ice cream for the full effect!
