Our Dyson hairdryer died on us so we tried Dreame!

So recently, our trusty Dyson hairdryer of almost 5 years died on us (we’re sending for servicing), so we took the chance to take out the new contender that’s been kept in our store for a while - that has an ongoing hype - the Dreame hairdryer!

Firstly, we are NOT sponsored in any way so this is purely 🙋🏻‍♀️ trying to be objective in her impressions of using both highly popular hairdryers. Which is ‘better’ is up to your own preference & priorities!

Sooo here’s 🙋🏻‍♀️’s POV after having used both hair dryers

💈Dyson hairdryer is:

- heavier

- reduces frizz

- DRIES THE HAIR ULTRA FAST!!! (for someone w long hair, this is super impt) 🏆

- sleek, luxurious look

- rather loud

- high-end pricing 💰💰💰💰💰

💈Dreame hairdryer on the other hand, is:

- lighter

- REDUCES FRIZZ WAY BETTER (woke up to smoother hair ngl) 🏆

- dries the hair FAST (definitely faster than general hairdryers, & v close fight w Dyson but prob cos I’ve been in the routine of using Dyson for years.. can tell tt there’s a sliightt difference haha!)

- v pretty looking (white with dusty pink touches!!)

- quiet

- mid-range pricing 💰💰💰

Soooo it’s rly hard to choose which is a winner because having used Dyson for almost 5 years, I’ve gotten USED to it and there’s a sentimental feeling attached esp since it’s a wedding gift. It has been a trusty hairdryer that could dry my hair ultra fast!! After using Dyson, I had never liked to use other hairdryers generally (unless no choice like when it just died on me haha) Still hoping the Dyson service team can do smth. Find it a pity if it’s rly spoilt and irreparable.

On the other hand, the Dreame is a shocker and I can get the recent hype about Dreame! It works so well without the high-end price tagged to it 💰🏆! with its light weight, I could consider bringing it ard for travels too. But it’s missing a hairdryer stand for me and it takes up space on my table. But I could probably buy the extra hairdryer stand. LOL. If you ask me, I’m still using the Dreame hairdryer now, still fascinated by how well it works!

all in all, I LOVE THEM BOTH - either way, both are GREAT hairdryers 🔌💇🏻‍♀️💇🏻‍♂️!!! I’d say either of them are worth getting. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 & interestingly, both hairdryers were gifts🎁 so we didn’t pay a cent. So TBH, If i had to purchase the hairdryer myself… I’d say I’d choose dreame✨ just cos I have other budget priorities. 🤭💰💰💰

So yes, this is one of the great investments for the home that I’ll recommend anyone, esp ladies - to invest in a good hairdryer — saving sooo much time and energy in drying the hair!!! 💆🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♂️
