Some things about me…

> I work in advertising and have for my entire career. All this home and thrifting stuff is my non-work, creative outlet.

> My favorite things to search for when I thrift are art, studio pottery, and oddities. I also love organic elements that provide texture like things made of stone, pieces of coral or shells, and wood etc.

> I am at my happiest when I’m doing things with my hands…whether it be decorating, painting, making pottery, refinishing furniture, fixing things or cooking/baking/perfecting my homemade pizza skills.

> I don’t have one decor style/look. I just like what I like and evolve it as I go and that’s ok IMO.

> I was born and raised in the Garden State, a.k.a New Jersey and while I don’t forget to water my plants, I do not have a green thumb. I’m also often reminded that I say “wudder” instead of “water”, “ahhhrange” instead of “orange” among other things, but it’s ok. It’s wudder under the bridge. 😉

> I currently work in DC and live in Maryland with my husband and two quirky dogs, Mr. Louie the Pug and our 10 yr old Boxer, Dutchess.

> I am a first generation half-Cuban. I’d give anything for some good ropa vieja, arroz con frijoles negro, yucca con mojo, platanos maduros and a few pastelitos de guayaba right now! Who’s with me? 😉

> At night, I dream about thrifting/antiquing and am always disappointed when I wake up empty handed 😂
