We LIMEWASHED our house

When I tell y’all that we put the neighborhood in fits for weeks I really mean it 🫣

We bought this sweet all brick house a little over a year ago, but weren’t crazy about the brick (it pulled a bit more red in person). The brick fireplace inside was painted white and we loved it. It inspired us to start researching what options we had for the exterior and we settled on limewash (more weather-resistant than paint, and better for the bricks as it allows them to breathe instead of trapping moisture behind them).

Levi did the entire house by hand with nothing but some buckets of crushed lime and water and a masonry brush. He even fell off the roof while doing it but that’s a story for another time 🤣
