$261 for a wedding dress 👰🏻‍♀️?! Taobao Wedding Dress

My first ever purchase on Taobao that made me get over at the language hurdle was this wedding dress!

Gowns are really expensive for something that you rent and not own. So for me, a cheaper alternative that gives me a dress of my own (never worn by anyone else) is a no brainer.

Having tried out some dresses, I knew an A-line would suit me best. I went searching for dresses on Taobao on the whim and was blown away by the beautiful designs and the affordable prices!

I chose a simple design, that I could possibly tailor to a shorter dress in the future! I even planned to make cushion covers out of the bottom removed fabric 😂

The dress came with its own pom-pom cage, and also a veil and lace gloves. The flowers you had the pin up on your own. I had my mum sew it on while I was wearing it so I could decide on the arrangement.

My ROM dress was just $42 and I am satisfied with the quality of both of the dresses! Thankfully I did not need to do any tailoring. I bought the dresses way in advance, in case things didn’t work out.

I also got all the accessories, my wearing sneakers 👟 , wedding decor, customise my own totebag design as wedding favours and many more off Taobao!
