Fear of Water

Fear can either cripple you or motivate you!

Catch me in the 5’ ? Yea, never! Until I decide that I won’t let fear cripple me any longer!

I’ve always loved being in the water. I’ve never had an life threatening experiences at the pool or the beach so I really couldn’t understand why I had such a fear of the #deepEnd .

I realized I was depriving myself from experiencing life on another level. The level of fun that I wanted to have was literally on the other side of overcoming my fears.

We’re 3 classes in and I’ve literally gained the courage to swim in the 5ft! [For reference, I’m 5’3] I’m not yet sure if I can jump off the diving board into the 11ft but that’s the end goal!

Our swimming instructor says I’ve improved a whole lot and “know how to swim” 🤨 lol ! Eric and I have been having a blast and can not wait for our 4th lesson this evening.
