Refreshing XXL desserts newly opened in town!! 😍

Hi Lemon8 fam!

It’s pretty warm recently and I don’t know about y’all but I’m always really craving for a more refreshing drink and dessert to take a quick breather from this sticky and humid SG weather 🥵

So I went to try the newly opened Yang Xiao Xian at Orchard Gateway and it was exactly what I needed 😍 It’s the FIRST outlet in SG and they are widely known for their Milk Ice series which was what I tried.

I had the Mango Durian Meir Mein Ice and I got a shock when it came cuz THE PORTION WAS HUGE 🤯 It says it’s for 2 pax but I’m pretty sure it can easily feed 3 🌚 The bowl starts from $16.80 so it’s just like $5/pax which is really affordable! The mango cubes were THICC, JUICY & SWEET it was so satisfying to bite into ❤️ So mango lovers this really is a MUST TRY 👍🏻 The Durian flavour is not too strong so it wasn’t like a fight between the mango and the durian, both trying to overpower each other. The flavours of both fruits blend pretty nicely actually! THE SHAVED ICE THOUGH 🥹 It’s so soft and fluffy and it’s like you’re eating cloud that just melts in your mouth 🤤 The best part is it’s not too sweet so it won’t be very jelak towards the end and it has a rich and creamy milk flavours that just goes so well with the sweet and strong flavoured fruits 💯

And to my fellow bbt lovers, REJOICE cuz they have it in milk tea flavour too and I’m so gonna try it the next time I visit them!! 🥺

Overall I would give this new dessert place a 9/10 and y’all really shouldn’t miss it when y’all go to town!! 😉
