Anyone else struggle with finding motivation for their everything showers?

When I notice I’m neglecting things that are typically my forms of self care, I like to take a moment to reflect on what is going on in my life.

Self care is one of the first things to go when I’m overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, or depressed. So once I recognize that I’m able to take a moment and acknowledge the feelings I’m having - accept them - and then make a change.

Whether it’s just allowing myself to exist as I am today, brushing my teeth, or of course the most important everything shower - I like to utilize self care as a healing tool.
