Spend a Sick Day With Me

Yesterday I decided to document some of the things I did during my sick day

First step: covid test! Given that I work with kids this is a first step whenever I’m feeling under the weather (just to be safe).

Next Up: I took some migraine relief medication for my headache. Since I knew I’d be staying home all day, I also put on a few pimple patches (may as well clear my skin while I have the chance right?)

I got a burst of energy once the migraine meds kicked in, so I decided to get a couple chores done while I could. So it was time to get some laundry done! I also cleaned my apartment some, because when I feel sick I hate when my apartment is gross.

After this: it was time to rot in bed for a while. The goal of any sick day is to rejuvenate yourself so you don’t have to be sick the next day too. So I watched a few movies, listened to my book, and tried to plan a few things for an upcoming vacation. And of course, it’s extremely important to ✨hydrate✨ when you are sick.

At the end of the night: I continued to chill in bed and relax. But I did do a face mask and got my hair ready for the next day. At this point I was feeling better enough to know I’d be back at work today
