read this before you get a nose piercing 🌟

thinking about getting a nose piercing but have no idea whether you should? in honour of #GetClassy , i am going to #SpillTheTea on my experience and the harsh lessons i’ve learnt along the way that you should take note of 🤣

𝙣𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙 💞

cost: $22 inclusive of jewerly 💵

pain level: 3/10 was a small pinch! hurt slightly less painful that i expected 😌

healing time: took around 4-5 months before i switched to a hoop (DO NOT DO THIS I REGRETTED IT SO MUCH BECAUSE IT STARTED SWELLING 🥹)

where i got it done: NeedlesnPinsz in Midview City! i highly would not recommend because i found out they did my nose piercing slanted after consulting with another piercer 😀

overall thoughts: honestly regretted going to NeedlesnPinsz because of how they did my piercing + the attending piercer was RUDE (did not look like she wanted to be there and was super snappy 😭) + regretted switching to a hoop after 4-5 months ❌

𝙨𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙪𝙢 ☀️

cost: RM90 service fee + RM50 starting jewerly = RM140 in total 💵

pain level: 5/10 more painful than i expected 🥲 my nose is super sensitive so it was like a huge pinch! it swelled up for around 2 weeks too!

healing time: took around 3-4 months for it not to hurt anymore when i “move it around” 🤪

where i got it done: Spec Body Art in Pavilion KL! the piercer Ronny is super professional and passionate — made sure i was comfortable, super gentle, done in an extremely clean environment, and overall an amazing experience 11/10 🤩

overall thoughts: super pleased with my experience at Spec Body Art and glad i got my piercing done there! aftercare is super easy — saline solution on a cotton bud for cleaning 🫧

𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 🦋

my honest verdict: YES DEFINITELY 👍 but go to someone who knows what they’re actually doing and don’t be afraid to spend more for QUALITY 👍

make sure to put time and effort in the aftercare so it will look even better when it heals 😎 and NEVER SWITCH OUT YOUR JEWELRY IMMEDIATELY WAIT FOR IT TO HEAL PROPERLY ⚠️

nose piercings actually helped me heal my relationship with my nose! i didn’t like the way my nose looked for the LONGEST TIME and weirdly enough, getting a nose piercing made me appreciate my nose 🥹
