🇸🇬a cafe in jurong i wish i knew about earlier

I'm back with cafes with that certain aesthetic (Psst: it's restaurants with the 'make-my IG look-great' aesthetic).

Although Surrey Hills Grocer is in the far west of Singapore, it's a hidden gem that you don't want to sleep on. With little plants and fairy lights hanging overhead, with good Australian food to pair the atmosphere, you're gonna want to take a seat and have an afternoon chat with a friend.

While most of the items were in the mid $20-$30 range, the quality of the food was top-notch (don't forget to pair it with equally high-quality company!)

🐟 Syd Fish Market | $28SGD

Most fish dishes are paired with couscous or a grain of some kind. I really liked that the carb item in this dish was barley made to taste a bit like risotto. I also like that the fish was soft, tender, and juicy! It was the right choice for me.

🍝 Truffle Pasta | $27SGD

⭐ 3/5

Nothing really spectacular about the dish. Compared to other types of truffle risotto / pasta, this was just passable. But the portion was generous and filling for sure!

🌅Golden Sunrise Juice | $8SGD

⭐ 3/5

Freshly blended fruit juice that was refreshing, but definitely a bit on the steep end at $8SGD.
