Zion National Park Day 1

Zion National Park offers a shuttle service that operates within Zion National Park, beginning at the visitor center, just north of the Springdale park entrance. It typically comes every 10-15 minutes, though schedules can vary based on the time of day and the season. There are nine stops, and it takes roughly 45 minutes to complete the whole 7.7-mile route. This is free to any visitor in the park.

There are three Emerald Pools — Upper, Middle, and Lower — in Zion National Park. You can choose from as many trails: a short, 1.2-mile round-trip loop to the Lower Pool; a 2-mile round-trip visit to the Middle and Lower Pools; or a 2.5-mile round-trip hike to all three. The paths to the Lower and Middle Pools are wide sidewalks and easily traveled.

The Pa'rus Trail is a multi-use path can walk or bike and the only trail bikes are allowed. Although roadways can bike but not permitted on the dirt hiking trails. This trail is 3.4 miles round trip.
