I love Halloween and being from Oklahoma City, I had a few great Halloweens there. I figured I’d compile some of my favorite spooky season memories and give some ideas for those looking for halloween fun in the OKC metro!

-Winchester Drive In! They do double features on Fridays and Saturdays, opting to play halloween classics in the fall. They have an adorable concession stand to fulfill all your snack needs (even on theme!) and sometimes even have merch! They have even played the Thriller music video as a preview before to get you in the mood, as well as had characters, such as pennywise, walk around to give you a good scare. Super fun and worth it. It’s a cash only entrance fee so make sure you come prepared!

-Night Market. Usually in Scissortail Park you can find the Night Market which has a collection of vendors. This makes for a nice relaxing fall evening! Check online to see the availability since it changes year to year.

-Botanical Gardens Pumpkin Patch! Although it’s fairly small and located downtown OKC, this may be one of the cutest pumpkin patches to visit. They have lots of pumpkin art that’s fun to look at and reasonably priced pumpkins (compared to other pumpkin patches I’ve been to). Very family friendly, I highly recommend!

-Shopping around the OKC metro for halloween decor is great! I recommend HomeGoods, AtHome, Cracker Barrel, Michael’s, Target, and even Walmart has some cute decor out!

-Decorating your home and front yard! I have a 12 foot skeleton that my husband puts up for me every Oct 1st! It’s a nice little tradition to decorate together and gets you in the spooky mood!

-Drive to haunted locations! Visit Guthrie for a full haunted city experience, including the First Territorial Prison and The Stone Lion Inn! You can also drive past the Zozo Demon House in OKC, however, be respectful of the property and do not trespass, as people do actively live there.
