My Spironolactone Experience

When I was in high school, I never struggled with any serious acne issues. I would have the occasional one or two pimples that would go away after a few days, but that was it when I got to college. It was almost like out of nowhere I got serious, painful acne. I tried everything out there, but nothing would work. I spent hundreds of dollars on skincare products, but nothing could give me any change. I finally was at my general practitioner and was complaining about my acne and how I had tried everything and she mentioned potentially trying spironolactone before I tried Accutane. I decided to give it a shot, and can I just say I am amazed with the results! I have had no side effects whatsoever in my skin looks the best it has ever looked in months! I would highly recommend anyone to try spironolactone before they try Accutane.
