Day 1 makeup-free

I always get so self conscious about my acne or if I look “young” without makeup. I’m 22, but I work and often volunteer with people in their 30s, and I like to be seen as a professional and a peer and an equal and not someone to “take under your wing.” I’ve decided that in order to get that clear skin, I need to stop wearing heavy foundation and makeup for a few weeks, or until it clears, and really work on my skincare consistency. If people see me as young, and they make a judgement, that’s on them. I’m showing up how I feel is healthy for me. I love going on walks in the rain, and this was a pretty big storm. Not many people were out, which was nice.
